    Important roadworks information

    Dear Sir/Madam

A47 between Postwick and Thickthorn Interchange: resurfacing

I write to inform you that we are in the planning stages of essential resurfacing works on the A47 Norwich Bypass. We plan to complete these works over 4 months, from 4 May to 6 August, subject to weather conditions.

Due to the extensive amount of work on this project, we will split the works into a number phases which will include; lane closures, contraflow and night-time closures.

We are closely liaising with the local authority to agree the most suitable diversion routes and construction programme. Once this has been finalised I will write to you again with more information.
