Roadworks – Tivetshall – 7th August – 8th August 2021 (23:00 – 8:00)

NORFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL has made a Temporary Traffic Order affecting the B1134 Station Road 10m either side of the level crossing in the PARISH OF TIVETSHALL because of works to defective rails.

The road will be temporarily closed (except for access) from 23:00 on 7th to 08:00 on 8th August 2021 for the duration of the works expected to be about 9 hours within the period.

Alternative route is via: Station Road, Ipswich Road, The Street, Norwich Road, Mulbarton Road, Main Road, The Turnpike, Market Place, Queen Street, King Street, Castle Hill Road, Haugh Road, Mile Road, Heath Road, Long Row (Newton Flotman, Bracon Ash, Wacton, Mulbarton, Caistor St. Edmund and Bixley, Swainsthorpe, Carleton Rode, Banham, Old Buckenham, Ashwellthorpe and Fundenhall, Stoke Holy Cross, Tacolneston, Winfarthing, Bunwell, Tasburgh, Pulham Market, Long Stratton, Swardeston, Keswick and Intwood, Tibenham, Wreningham, Saxlingham Nethergate, Forncett, Aslacton, Gissing, New Buckenham, Tivetshall).

(If necessary the restriction could run for a maximum period of 18 months from the date of the Order).

Penalty: £1000 maximum fine on conviction and/or endorsement for contravention.
