EXTENSION OF ROAD CLOSURE – Low Road

NORFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL has made a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order (STRO7973) affecting the C184 Low Road from its junction with U71764 Fir Hill for 113m north-westwards in the PARISH OF KESWICK AND INTWOOD to facilitate AW repairs to a burst water main.

This Order continues the provisions of the Notice dated 9th February 2023 that the road will be temporarily closed (except for access) and the restriction will now continue in effect from 15th to 16th February 2023 (previously 8th to 14th February 2023) for the duration of the works expected to be about 2 days within the period.

Alternative route is via: Low Road, Keswick Road, Newmarket Road, Eaton Street, Bluebell Road, Newmarket Road, Daniels Road, Ipswich Road, Mulbarton Road (Cringleford, Keswick and Intwood, Eaton, Norwich).

If necessary, the restriction could run for a maximum period of 18 months from the date of the Order.

Penalty: £1000 maximum fine on conviction and/or endorsement for contravention.
