(EAST CARLETON) (EMERGENCY NOTICE)
TEMPORARY TRAFFIC RESTRICTION 2021
Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 – Section 14(2)
In accordance with the provisions of Section 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984, the Norfolk County Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that owing to a burst water main the use by vehicles of the U78103 Swardeston Lane from 228m northeast of its junction with C178 Intwood Road for 30m north-eastwards in the PARISH OF EAST CARLETON will be temporarily prohibited from 25th to 29th October 2021 for the duration of the works, expected to be about 5 days within the period. If necessary the restriction could run for a maximum period of 21 days.
Alternative route is via: U78103 Swardeston Lane/Low Common/The Common, U78029 The Common/Intwood Lane/Swardeston Lane, U78028 Swardeston Lane, C178 Intwood Lane and vice versa (Keswick and Intwood, East Carleton, Swardeston).
(If necessary the restriction could run for a maximum period of 18 months from the date of the Order)
Penalty: £1000 maximum fine on conviction and/or endorsement for contravention.
